Mitchell, Allen Lead the Way as Cavs Secure Playoff Berth

CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) - In a game with significant playoff implications, the Cleveland Cavaliers closed out the regular season on a high note, defeating the Orlando Magic 118-105 on Friday night.
Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Cavs, pouring in 33 points on 12-of-22 shooting. Jarrett Allen added a double-double with 18 rebounds and 10 points, while Darius Garland chipped in with 17 points and 10 assists.
For the Magic, reigning Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero continued his impressive campaign with 26 points and 8 rebounds. Markelle Fultz also contributed 19 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Cleveland's balanced attack.
The Cavs, who have been battling injuries all season, showed their resilience by winning their sixth straight game. This victory secures a playoff berth for Cleveland, who will enter the postseason as the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.
"Our guys have been through a lot this year," said Cavs head coach J.B. Bickerstaff. "But they've never given up. They've always believed in themselves. And tonight, they proved that they're ready for the playoffs."
The Cavs will open their playoff series against the No. 5 seed Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, April 16.
