Dramatic Turnaround Secures Qualification

Bayer 04 Leverkusen secured their qualification for the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League with a dramatic 2-2 draw against West Ham United on Thursday evening.

After West Ham took an early lead in the first leg, Leverkusen fought back in the second leg, scoring two goals in added time to overturn the deficit and secure a place in the next round.

The match was a tale of two halves, with West Ham dominating the first and Leverkusen taking control in the second.

The Hammers took the lead in the 10th minute through a goal from Jarrod Bowen, but Leverkusen equalized in the 58th minute through Moussa Diaby.

West Ham regained the lead in the 62nd minute through Michail Antonio, but Leverkusen refused to give up and scored a stunning equalizer in the 88th minute through Callum Hudson-Odoi.

With the match seemingly heading for a draw, Leverkusen produced a moment of magic in added time when Amine Adli scored a stunning goal to give them the lead.

Leverkusen held on to their lead and secured a dramatic victory, sending them through to the next round of the Europa League.
