Boskamp Treurig Ik Ken Zelfs Een Heleboel Feyenoorders Niet

Boskamp saddened: "I don't even know many Feyenoord fans"

Former Feyenoord player and coach Wim Boskamp is saddened by the current state of affairs at the club. He believes that the club has lost its identity. That, for example, you can see from the fact that there are many supporters who do not support the club on location.

"Everyone used to be close together at Feyenoord," says Boskamp. "Now it is not uncommon for people to sit through the match on their mobile. And that is of course not the way it should be."

Boskamp also thinks that the club is no longer as ambitious as it used to be. "We used to want to win everything," he says. "Now we are happy if we reach the playoffs."

Boskamp hopes that things will improve at Feyenoord soon. "I would love to see the club back at the top of the table," he says. "But for that, a lot needs to change."

Boskamp is not the only one who is concerned about the state of affairs at Feyenoord. Many supporters are also dissatisfied. In a recent survey, more than half of supporters said they were not satisfied with the way the club is run.

The club management is aware of the concerns of the supporters. Technical director Frank Arnesen recently said that he wants to make sure that Feyenoord becomes a top club again. "We want to play attractive football and win trophies," he said.

It remains to be seen whether Arnesen will succeed in turning things around at Feyenoord. But one thing is for sure: the club needs to change if it wants to return to the top of the table.
